The Episignal Lab – Epithelial Cell Signaling and Secretion Research Group (the “Lab”) is an organizational unit of the University of Szeged. Content available on https://episignal.eu/ and related platforms—including texts, publications, figures, photos, graphics, datasets, and source code—is protected by copyright. Economic rights are, by default, held by the University of Szeged, while moral rights remain with the authors.

Public Research
Our research outputs are public and accessible; this does not equate to unrestricted reuse. Use of specific materials is governed by the licensing terms below.

Default Licensing
• Text and figures: Creative Commons CC BY 4.0. You may use, share, and adapt with proper attribution (“Author(s); work title; Episignal Lab, University of Szeged; URL; license link”).
• Photos and visual identity: All rights reserved by default unless a specific CC license is indicated.
• Logos and trademarks (University/Lab): permission required; CC licenses do not grant logo use.
• Third-party materials: subject to their own licensing; source and license will be indicated.

Publications, Data, Code
• Scholarly publications and preprints: preferably under CC BY 4.0 when permitted; otherwise subject to publisher terms.
• Datasets: preferably CC0 or CC BY 4.0.
• Source code and software: typically released under MIT or Apache-2.0 (see the repository LICENSE file).
